Judy We have purchased Mrs. Meyer's candles for years. They are absolutely the best. They transform any room.
Sarah So i am one of those people who HATES spending money on candles - as it's something you light on fire and it goes away - so usually just go to Homegoods Clearance Rack - ordered this once as I was trying to fill up my shopping basket [...] and am a fan of Mrs. Meyers - LOVE THIS CANDLE! A staple in my bathroom which I share with two guys
T2 I like the scent. The very utilitarian design is tolerable, but the burn pattern is a problem. I buy lots of candles in jars and I know to leave them burning long enough to avoid creating a giant crater in the middle of the candle. Unfortunately, that doesn't work with this candle. It burned a 1.5" diameter circle in the middle, so there's lots of waste and no real light.

KDT The lavender scent is lovely. It is very "lavender" so if you are unsure about that scent in general this isn't for you. It fills the room with a light fragrance without being over powering. It's long lasting and completely safe. Once you are finished you can peel the label off and use the jars.
JT trying to relax. I love the smell of lavender. It is sensual, relaxing, and focusing -- it works wonders. I wanted a candle to fill my room with that wonderful smell... The smell of lavender. Having the most purchases and the highest ratings -- I bought this Meyer's Lavender candle and it smells absolutely HORRIBLE. Everything else about this candle is stellar. It's the longest burning candle I've had -- It doesn't smoke or flicker. It smells NOTHING like lavender. There is not a drop of essential oil in it... and I find the candle keeps me awake and focused because my nose is TRYING to find that recognizable scent. It's definitely made for a larger room. It is a potent smell and it is almost effervescent... it has a flowery scent, but there is also this citrus or lemon or bubbly scent that is SO overpowering. I don't know. Some people would like this candle, but this was not what I wanted. I like using Dr. Bronner's soap. Find a bottle of the lavender scent and open it up and take a deep inhale. That's lavender.
cupertinokims Does well to mask cooking smells in the kitchen. Much longer lasting than other brands. Cap makes putting out the candle convenient. Lavender scent a little bit stronger than lemon but is still not too strong.
TTrip One Candle in my kitchen spread frgrance through most of my home. Love Love Love the smell. I burn candles daily , all day, so for me, I seem to burn through them quickly, but for the average person, burn time is good
Mindful Consumer I have been trying to overhaul my purchasing habits since late this summer. One item that I have become interested in is "natural" candles. There are a lot of products that claim to be natural and not harmful to you, but is that really the case? I thought that I would give this candle a chance. The first thing I noticed is that the smell was overpowering immediately after I took the lid off the jar, and almost as strong while it burns. I can't say that I hate the candle, but I can't say that I like it either. It wasn't what I was looking for. I am usually a Yes, I love this product or No, I hate this product. But, this candle is a stumper. I mean it's a candle, it burns, and it has a scent, that's what it's supposed to do. I wanted a more natural version is all, not just soy based. I tried it, but I will not be buying this product in the future. If I want to spend that much money on a candle, it is going to have to do a lot better.
Anna I light my myers candle for a few hours every evening while I'm reading or watching t.v. It creates a nice, subtle scent and helps to relax. It burns slowly, so you really get your money's worth.
