Pat Good Product 2 Alarms Good Volumne

Joseph Mandigo Jr. "Mandigo" Radio gets many stations clear, where my last one did not. Both alarms work great. I keep one for work and the other alarm I use only for the weekend. Time is large, but can change the light to bright or really dim, which I can still see. Sleep has different settings, not just one. Can change alarm volume seperate from radio alarm. Changing the time is SOOOO easy and very fast. Has battery to keep the time always.

BEST Radio Alarm clock I ever had.

Ripped off in Kansas I am VERY displeased & would like to return this product even though I'm SURE I won't receive a "Full" refund. This clock is IMPOSSIBLE to see from a distance over 5 feet! I sent it in with you stating that I would get an axchange, & all I got back was a DIRTY clock with scratches on the front & the SAME Problem I had to begin with! (By the way, this is set on the HIGHEST setting that display Brightness will go.)

sp [...] I've used it quite a while without problems. My main purpose for getting this one is because of the dual alarm. I set one alarm (for the morning shift) and the second (midnight shift). I did not have to keep changing the setting for my shift work. I also like the idea of waking up to either a radio or buzzer. I don't like the tuning dials (too sensitive). I was also disappointed about the "tinny" sound...I've had other Sony radios that sounded much better. For my purpose, it was adequate and the price was reasonable.

derekmski This alarm clock is very easy to set, it has forward and back for setting clock and alarms. It has 2 sound settings for buzzer, you can also wake up the radio. This clock has 3 LED dimmer settings for when you go to bed, I don't know what the one person is talking about it being bright, it dims down very very dim for at night. They must not know how to set the brightness or have a defective clock. Mine is actually hard to see if during the day the sun is shining directly on it, but that isn't for long. Another bonus, it automatically changes daylight savings time. Alarm starts with slow beeps and then gets more rapid as you wait to reset/turn it off. As far as the radio quality, the sound is very clear.

Update: I have returned the first one and got a second one and now the second clock has a burnt out LED so the numbers on the right look messed up.

RR1 We've had this dual alarm clock radio for about 3 months, and we use it almost every weekday. We are very pleased with it for 3 reasons: (1) The two alarms are easy to set and then to reset to a different time for weekends. (2) A great feature is the adjustable display brightness, which isn't touted in the ads. It has 3 settings, so you can select a brightness that doesn't glare into your eyes while trying to sleep, yet is visible in daylight. Or you can easily switch from a bright daytime setting to a dimmer night setting. In general, the display seems dimmer than that of many other clock radios, which is fine with us (most are too bright). (3) Shutting off the alarm is easy, because you can hit the large snooze button first (with eyes still closed), then subsequently hit the radio off/alarm reset button after you are sufficiently awake to find that smaller button. Some radios we looked at don't let you turn off the alarm radio if you've already hit the snooze button; you have to wait for the snooze period to end and for the alarm to go off again before hitting the Off button. This radio has a battery backup, but I think ours came with a dead battery, because the battery indicator light has been on from the start. The manual is ambiguous on whether that means the battery is good or dead, but I suspect the latter. The analog radio is nothing to brag about--tuning is sketchy and sound quality is mediocre--so I knocked off a star. But who buys a clock radio to listen to music for more than a few minutes each day? We haven't used the regular alarm, so I can't comment on its volume or sound quality. Overall it's a fine clock radio at a good price. There aren't many good models out there, but this is one of them.

superchi setting up the alarm is quite simple once you understand the manual. but you need to be attentive for the buzzer to wake you. for me, i placed the gadget very close to my head area in order to make the alarm stir me to get up..

Just Because Had this clock for several years and still works great. Dual alaram is a great feature. You can dim the brightness of the led with a push of a button. Alarm even works when the power is out. What a great product.

Sportsman Frank Needed a replacement for an ancient Radio Shack dual alarm. This unit is much smaller, has great reception and is easy to use. I like the separate settings and the choice of radio or buzzer alarms. The large 10 min snooze button is very convenient. On/off is concave/convex but you have to feel around for them in the dark. Don't understand any of the negative comments I have read. I am pretty picky and this unit definitely does the job!
