Holly This soother has been a life saver from day one. The lights and sounds gave my son something to watch and fall asleep to. As he got older, he still would lay down in his crib and watch the characters swim around until he fell asleep. The only problem is the batteries do not last at all, no matter what brand I used. It was very frustrating to go to turn it on and it would shut off after a few seconds and need new batteries. It has an auto shut off but in order to not waste battery you have to actually go in and switch it to off and hope your baby doesn't wake up when you go in. So I always had to make sure to have C batteries and a little screwdriver on hand. Mine also stopped working after a year, not sure why. Despite the frustrations, it was so helpful to get my baby asleep I bought another one when first stopped working. It's also great to have the remote to turn it on and off, but still have to completely switch off if trying to save battery.

Mommy of a gastro baby This soother has made such an immense difference! My son is 6 weeks old and in the NICU. He was a full term baby, but has gastroschisis where he was born with a section of the bowel outside the body. He has been having a rough road with not being able to begin feedings yet, having an infection, and will undergo a second surgery on the 23rd. So he has been in a lot of discomfort, and since he is a term baby he is alert and awake and needing to have stimulation. & let me tell you, this toy has calmed him when nothing else could and has given him something interesting to break the monotony. So if it can calm a very hungry baby that is in pain and fussy, then I am sure it will do wonders on a normal baby. Really, this product has been amazing. I would recommend it to anyone.

Patty This is by far our favorite baby product. My son absolutely loves it. It calms him down when he is cranky, and has been a great incentive for him during tummy time. A plus is that I don't mind listening to the music either! We used the crib strap to connect it to our car for a 12 hour drive with a 4 month old, which made the car ride a lot easier.

1st time parent I was excited to purchase this product. Although it's features are wonderful, it's unfortunate that the strap to attach the product is extremely short. I understand that there should not be extra length on an item that will be on a crib, but unfortunately it is so short that we cannot attach it to the side. We had to attach it to one of the ends of the crib and it barely made it. I feel that we have a modern crib and it's dimensions are not out of the ordinary. Our baby is looking for it, but it is hard for him when he is looking down instead of to the side when trying to fall asleep.

Michele Momma To Two This product is wonderful, bright and movements are enjoyed by my 2 month old, it is very helpful in soothing him to sleep. One problem with this item is that it is LOUD, too loud for something that is supposed to sooth a baby to sleep. We had to put a piece of cardboard over the back so it wouldn't be so loud. Everytime we put our son to sleep the item would wake him up due to the loudness, with the cardboard it is perfect.

Danielle I am so mad!! I bought this product so when my baby cries at 4am I could use the remote and turn it on without the baby seeing me…HOWEVER the remote doesn't work at 4am!!! I called baby Einstein customer service and they told me after 2 hours the remote goes into shut off mode to save batteries and i have to physically turn it on…so whats the point of the remote???????!!!!!!

jerseymomma My reason for requesting this was because it had the ability to just turn on the soft light by pushing the button - I love this for middle of the night diaper changes! However, I don't like much else-goes through 4D size batteries every 2-3 weeks(get rechargeables!),the sound even on the softer setting is TOO LOUD(our baby sleeps on the other side of our room and both the music and the water sounds are loud enough to keep us awake), the movement of the animals makes a mechanical sound that is as loud as the music/water and seems like a bad design there. We received another Nemo soother, which I actually use for SOOTHING the baby, this one I only found useful for the light for nighttime diaper changes. It's ok for the baby to play with during the day, but doesn't seem like a nighttime soother otherwise. Oh, and we found it to fit fine on our crib. I definintely expected more from Baby Einstein!!

Mom of 3 My daughter LOVES this however the batteries die really fast. She plays with it at naptime and it plays for a while so I'm sure if I use the remote to turn it off when she falls asleep the battery would last longer but I have to change the batteries every week or 2 and they're 4 C batteries. Not that cheap. Other than that I love this.

chalie3d My daughter and I loved this aquarium from the moment we got it. The music is nice, and the movements grab her attention alright to help her fall asleep. She's 22 months old now and I still use it for nap time and for the the night.

However, the motor stopped working a little while back and I'm super disappointed, considering the Baby Einstein brand - and its price... The motor was always a bit noisy but I didn't expect it to completely stop working!

Also, the aquarium sounds were always a bit LOUD to my taste, even the lowest setting. But it never seemed to bother my daughter much.
