melslo This is a great carrier once baby has good head support.

deltagreen This is the second carrier that I've purchased. My baby hated the first one as he over heated quickly. I can't spend $100 plus on a carrier. I thought about the moby, but it's complicated and I need to be able to put this on myself.

I found success with the Mei Tai carrier. It's a wrap that's not complicated. Even my husband uses it while he plays computer games so the baby is snuggled and close.

I'm a larger sized woman, I wish the ties were a little bit longer so that I could tie it in the back. Maybe they should offer an option that has longer ties so the slimmer moms out there wouldn't have the extra length. (It's hard to get a product to fit everyone when we're all so differently shaped) However it works just fine being tied in the front.

I do wish there was a pocket on the front that I could put things in.

Mom of a GERD baby and toddler I bought this wrap because i love baby wearing, and wanted something that was safe for the baby's hips. I also need a wrap because I'm a full time teacher and student, and after feedings GERD babies need to be upright for atleast 30 minutes. So I do my hw at the counter while wearing him. I was originally interested in the ergobaby, but not interested in the price. This is practically the same thing as the ergo, just more comfortable and with straps instead of buckles. Also, you can use this wrap at any age. Currently my 8 week old is using it, but it also fits my 2.5

Year old.

Jenn As a first time baby wearer, but 2nd time mom, I was looking for an item to securely hold my baby for bonding and function while chasing my 2 year old. I did a lot of research and was between the Mei Tai and the Ergo. Ideally I would have purchased the Ergo, but financially was not able at the time. I purchased the Mei Tai due to it's high reviews and the ability to transition positing as the child got older.

Some of the reviews talk about the difficulty in putting it on. I did not find it difficult. The hardest part was just getting my 8 week old positioned correctly to bear weight through his bottom and have his head supported. I found it more supportive to tie the wrap around strap across his shoulders for more head support rather across his mid back. The comment about the straps getting dirty because they dangle on the floor is true if you put it on in standing. If you sit down, you have more control of this.

My baby loves being in the carrier. I have been able to play outside with my toddler while the 8 week old is in it, put dishes away, and vacuum. I am curious as he gets older how this carrier will grown with him, but at this age and weight (9 lbs) it's perfect for us.

I gave it four stars because there could be some slight improvements, like a small pouch to carry the hood or your keys/phone, D rings to pull the tension of the straps through, and more padding on the shoulder straps with a non slip material.

Ronnie I was on the hunt for a carrier for my little man who loves to be carried. I have two babies 17 months apart and i needed to be able to baby wear and be ends free for certain activities. I am petite, so I wanted something that wasn't too stiff, big or complicated to put on. I also wanted a wrap that was simple with not a ton of excess fabric. This wrap style baby carrier exceeded my expectations. I am on a budget, so I couldn't spend a ton either. This very reasonably priced option was the best option for us. It is a wonderful carrier and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I also want to commend the associate in the store who spent a lot of time with me allowing me to try on the different carriers allowing me to narrow the search and make this selection. Al around great experience and great selection.

Nat and Johnny's Mom I got my first one as a gift and loved it! I have a very fussy baby and can't sit around all day holding him. I've since picked up 2 more so I can have one in the house, and one in each car. They're very easy to use and more versatile than a buckle carrier. I have been using these since my son was a newborn, and he is almost 1. I'm sure I'll be able to use it for another year minimum.

They have knee to knee support which is important for comfort for baby, and the best priced ergonomic carrier I've seen. I also like that I have options and different ties for my own comfort.

I'm buying one for a friend, and I may start buying these for baby shower gifts, they've been a lifesaver for us!

Baby Ks mommy The mei tai is very soft and well made. Easy to understand instructions right on the inside panel. Fits my post baby body (180lbs). Much more comfy than our BabyBjorn. LO is more comfy for much longer than with the NBC. Great neck and head support for when he falls asleep which happens very quickly most of the time. It fits in our diapy bag easier than our other carriers. Much easier to get on and tie than a woven ir stretchy wrap. Can hold my big baby with comfort and feels very secure. Doesn't cause discomfort to my back...yet lol. The ties are pretty long as they must be. Drag on the ground while tieing but tie up nice and short when done putting LO in. Overall my favorite over my other carriers for many reasons. Top marks for ease of use and price.

Sue H This is a great carrier. I generally use this to take the dog on walks or when I'm out-and-about running errands (like grocery shopping).

I was able to start wearing it immediately on my first attempt (I thought it would be trickier to get on, but it was fine.) My daughter is really comfortable in this carrier because it's really easy to adjust compared to other carriers. For example, there are no buckles to adjust or rings to pull cloth through... you just tighten or loosen the straps until the fit feels right. I have an ergo and a ring sling and find this to be the easiest carrier to get on.

Also, one of the best features is that it packs really well. I can stuff this in my diaper bag no problem, so it's always handy.

I would highly recommend the mei tai.

Sam I use the carrier when we're out at the mall or shopping in General. I love having my baby close to me in addition to having my hands free to check items out if needed. Additionally, it keeps my baby warm without having to add additional layers in the cold MI winter. The only drawback is the sash - over time it becomes a little loose. The knots seem to loosen up slightly and i need to secure everything again. Also, it's a little difficult getting a tight knot with the hip straps and i always need someone to hold the first knot before tying the second one as it seems to slip and loosen a little. The great thing about this product is that the wrap distributes the weight of my baby and I don't feel my back or shoulders hurting over time.

Overall a great product to purchase. I would recommend this to my friends and family.
